“All that I want you to do, with this game you're playing doing this film with us, is be fair”, a direct Ken Dyers spells out at the onset of this gripping documentary. Dyers has reason to be concerned: his organisation, Kenja, has been accused by fellow Australians and lawmakers of being a destructive cult for years, while Dyers himself has been charged, repeatedly, with the sexual assault of young women. Given unprecedented access, filmmakers Luke Walker and Melissa Mclean delve into the often bizarre world of Kenja, which focuses on energy conversion of negative thoughts, and the nurturing of ones inner child. Dyers and his calm, cool and collected wife Jan have devoted their lifetimes to cultivating the Kenja brand, which encourages successful, bright, young Australians into its fold, but brutally rejects those who do not conform.
