Enjoy a day in the company of Stefan Weber and his pet chicken, Hilde. Weber's rock band Drahdiwaberl has dreamt of worldwide revolution for forty years. Often shocking in its performances such as the onstage orgy which opens this film - the band succeeded in bringing a revolutionary jolt to a drab and grey 1970s Austria, and has enjoyed cult status ever since, with a few bumps along the way. "For us it was interesting that he was a very manageable and docile child," says Weber's father of his outrageous son, "...but he still had a certain interest in the cruel or negative." Thanks to his brother's pastiche archival footage of Weber dating back to 1957, this film tells the story of contemporary Austria through one unusual man, his band, and chicken.
