In an apartment building in a Finnish suburb, Somalian refugee Abdi and his sisters are playing with Julia and her siblings. They roam the nearby woods, bantering back and forth as they move from project to project. Although the children argue about all sorts of things, including whether Jesus or Allah rules, their disagreements are soon forgotten as more important matters, such as building their hut, take precedence. In this documentary veteran Finnish filmmaking team Susanna Helke and Virpi Suutari deliberately omitted the many ongoing racial tensions between Finnish and immigrant communities, choosing instead to focus on ordinary Finnish childhood through the eyes of Islamic immigrant children.
