Submit a Session Idea
Doc/Fest has always been a festival owned by the documentary community and industry with dozens of people offering their time and knowledge to put the sessions together. We welcome ideas that you think are important to be discussed. Submit your session idea! Online submission form open now.
In the past it has been members of the Advisory Committee who meet regularly to discuss session ideas and donate their time to produce, moderate and speak on sessions and masterclasses.
For 2008, the Advisory Committee will continue to do this, but Doc/Fest would like to open this opportunity up to everyone who would like to contribute to our festival. This is your chance to have your input on the Doc/Fest industry session programme.
If you have an idea for a session you would like to see at the festival - it can be craft-based, case studies, debates, masterclasses - then please submit your ideas online via our website.
The deadline for session submissions is 4 July 2008
We will contact you by end of July if your session is selected. If successful, you get to produce the session, giving you an opportunity to be valuable part of the Doc/Fest and get involved with leading people in the documentary industry.
How to be a Session Producer
