Films by Strand

Each night of the festival Doc/Fest will showcase a film from our specially prepared Strands.

Music Doc celebrates the unique marriage of music in documentary that focus on musician biographies or focuses on bands, a Sports Doc for those that just can’t resist, a Bent Doc focusing on gay and lesbian themes or by gay filmmakers, Green Docs dedicated to films about the environment and our love / hate relationship to it, a Regime Change doc to mark the coming US elections and a ‘controversial’ film in the aptly-named strand: Anti-Doc.

Mark Cousins' special strand on Japanese documentary continues this year with rare gems and timeless classics. More information about the Japanese Strand coming soon.
