Where to Eat and Drink

There are several main areas of restaurants and bars within 5-10 minutes walk from the Festival location. Here is a rough guide...

Near to the Peace Gardens and Winter Gardens can be found an array of large popular chain restaurants, (Café Rouge, HA!HA!) close to the main shopping centre of town.

Near to The City Hall begins Division Street - a popular haunt for students. Head here for independent restaurants, bars and the Forum – a quirky independent shopping arcade worth a look with a café bar open throughout the day.

At the end of Division Street is the West One flat and restaurant complex, here Division Street joins West Street – the liveliest night district filled with more well-known restaurants, clubs and nightlife.

On the other side of town, London Road has a variety of colourful restaurants on offer, and Ecclesall Road (about 15 mins walk from the centre of town) is a quiet ‘golden mile’ of contemporary independent restaurants and café bars.

If you’ve something specific in mind, here are our listings of recommended restaurants, eateries and bars. Download the Doc/Fest map of Sheffield at the left of screen.

Enjoy!
