Each year, the sessions at Sheffield Doc/Fest include keynote addresses and interviews with some of the world's leading documentary filmmakers and broadcasters.

There are sessions on the business of docs, for those hungry for commissioning and the art of docs, with inspirational masterclasses and panels that address hot issues facing documentary makers today.

In the past it has been members of the Advisory Committee who meet regularly to discuss session ideas and donate their time to produce, moderate and speak on sessions and masterclasses.

For 2008, the Advisory Committee will continue to do this, but Doc/Fest would like to open this opportunity up to everyone who would like to contribute to our festival. This is your chance to have your input on the Doc/Fest industry session programme.

If you have an idea for a session you would like to see at the festival - it can be craft-based, case studies, debates, masterclasses - then please submit your ideas online here. Submissions close 4 July.

The session programme for 2008 will be announced in October.
