Hospitality Coordinator

The role of Hospitality Coordinator is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a key guest-facing role leading up to and during the 2018 Festival. With 3,500 delegates from around the UK and the world, you will be working across departments ensuring all guests, including VIP filmmakers and Decision Makers, are accommodated and well looked after during their stay at Sheffield Doc/Fest. You will have professional internal and external communication skills and be able to confidently work with large budgets and filing systems. You will be responsible for keeping the Festival team up to date with travel and accommodation, and for ensuring the Doc/Fest website is consistent and clear with hospitality information.

Production Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sheffield Doc/Fest team, and a chance to work behind the scenes at a major international event, playing a key role in the 2018 Festival. You will work closely with the Head of Production, providing organisational, administrative, and logistical support. You will coordinate temporary staff and technicians, liaise with venue partners, and be involved in the production of all aspects of the Festival including the Film programme, Alternate Realities exhibitions, Talks & Sessions, Marketplace & Talent, and Events. The successful applicant will have exceptional attention to detail, be committed and conscientious, with excellent organisational and people skills.

Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for liaising with all Festival departments to ensure the right support is in place pre-, during and post- Sheffield Doc/Fest 2018. You will have exceptional social skills with the ability to offer support to a number of people from a wide range of backgrounds to ensure the volunteers have a highly positive and productive experience at the Festival. You will have the ability to stay calm, and offer supervision, encouragement and motivation within a pressured festival environment.

Talks & Sessions Assistant

The Talks & Sessions Assistant will support the Head of Talks & Sessions with the development, implementation and production of the Talks & Sessions programmes. You will provide organisational, administrative and intermediary production support, working closely with the Head of Talks & Sessions and outside contractors, speakers, and sessions producers. The successful candidate will have strong communication, database management, and people skills, with an exceptional attention to detail.

Alternate Realities Market Coordinator

The Alternative Realities Market Coordinator will manage the running of the Alternate Realities Market on all days of its operation including being the first point of contact for selected project teams from selection. With this exciting opportunity to join the Doc/Fest team, you will research extra Decision Makers to invite to Alternate Realities Market based on specific needs of selected projects in conjunction with Head of Marketplace & Talent. You will have experience in organising/managing events or productions involving many people and many logistical elements; Knowledge of companies and creatives in the augmented reality and virtual reality storytelling industry.

The Marketplace Sessions Coordinator will assist in the successful running of Marketplace Sessions, Sales & Distribution Summit, Round Tables, 10 Minute Meets and On-Screen Talent Market whilst ensuring Decision Makers and pitchers are fully briefed at all times. You will have Knowledge of companies and creatives in the documentary and interactive storytelling industry. You will also have Experience in organising/managing markets, events or productions involving many people and many logistical elements.
