The Shadow of Yolüja

An older man standing in a dimly lit room, with strong light casting a long, defined shadow of him on the wall. He wears a hat and simple clothing, with a contemplative or slightly solemn expression.

Poo, Alfredo, and Esther Pushaina, indigenous Wayúu fishermen, live in northern Colombia’s coastal desert, where a coal mine has unleashed Yolüja, a malevolent spirit who turns their dreams into nightmares. Displaced from their ancestral lands, they struggle to reclaim them on a journey between the realm of dreams and reality.
