Inside the rain-specked window of a vehicle, a woman cradles a child, their peaceful moment lit by cold blue light. Outside, smoke, fire, and a crowd in protest or crisis under streetlights and bare autumn trees.

Wave is a documentary shaped by the intimate diaries of four Georgian filmmakers united with the same fight for independence of their country.
