Acclaimed Emmy and BAFTA-winning filmmaker Norma Percy joins director Max Stern to discuss the making of their documentary, which marks the tenth anniversary of the Brexit vote.

Marking the tenth anniversary of the Brexit vote, this revealing two-part series (now titled Brexit: A Very British Civil War) revisits a year that changed the course of British history, unravelling the rivalries, conflicts and betrayals that tore apart both campaigns.

In classic Brook Lapping style, the story is told only by those who were inside the room when the key decisions were made, uncovering the meetings and conversations that took place behind-closed-doors. The series reveals the pressures that politicians like Boris Johnson and Michael Gove were under as they agonised about which way to jump.

The discussion will explore how the team secured unprecedented access and how they approach a subject that remains deeply contested.
