Your chance to review the DFC’s work serving the documentary community over the past year, to welcome your newly elected board, and set the path forward for 2026/27.
Join the DFC for their 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) – a vital moment to reflect on the past year’s challenges and achievements, and to strengthen connections across the UK's documentary community. We will also celebrate appointing our first CEO, former BBC Storyville and Fremantle Global Head of Docs, Mandy Chang.
As a cornerstone of the DFC’s co-operative model, the AGM will see the leadership team present their activities from the past year. Members will also be invited to vote on the DFC Annual Report and Accounts. Alongside formal business, the AGM is an opportunity to ask questions, share feedback and connect with fellow Members and Supporters.
As a co-operative, the DFC is owned and run by its members, and the AGM ensures we stay accountable to our community. All welcome (NB: only DFC Members can vote).
Speakers:
Mandy Chang (CEO, Documentary Film Council | Executive Producer/Producer)
Steve Presence (Former Acting CEO, Documentary Film Council | Senior Lecturer in Film and TV at the University of Bristol)
Emily Copley (Former Acting CEO, Documentary Film Council | Programmer and Senior Producer of Talks & Sessions, Sheffield DocFest | Independent Producer)
