Join us for a special public event marking the world premiere of Maybe Tomorrow at Sheffield DocFest.
The event will feature the live reveal of a new artwork inspired by the film, alongside an intimate conversation with Wafa Mustafa and co-Director Waad al-Kateab about the story behind the documentary, the process of making it, and the personal experiences that shaped it.
Maybe Tomorrow follows Wafa’s search for answers about her father, who was forcibly disappeared by the Assad regime. Through conversation, storytelling, and art, the event will offer audiences an opportunity to learn more about the film, the realities faced by families living with disappearance and uncertainty, and the power of cinema to create connection, visibility, and dialogue.
The installation will remain open to festival audiences and the public throughout the event.
