Our Rough Cut Screenings are an opportunity for five selected MeetMarket teams to show part of their documentaries to a room of industry representatives and delegates, to discuss, receive feedback and find partners to move their projects forward.
Participating Rough Cut projects include:

Upstream
Director: Moira Fett, Natalie Berger (USA)
At the edge of youth and adulthood, young men converge at a remote salmon conservation site along Alaska’s Taku River. Cut off from the outside world, they must rely on each other—and the lessons of the salmon—to confront turbulent pasts and come-of-age.
The Weight of Snow
Director: Matias Bolla (Australia, Chile)
In the far south of Chilean Patagonia, ageing gauchos live alone on vast ranches, sustaining a way of life built on endurance. As drought takes hold and their bodies begin to fail, they must decide whether survival means adapting or being left behind.
