GEN Doc tickets are priced at just £6 for cinema screenings (including UK, International and World Premieres) and £10 for special talks and screenings at the Lyceum Theatre.
How to sign up
To register, email gendoctickets@sheffdocfest.com with the following details:
- Name
- Email address
- Date of birth
- Proof of age
Accepted proof of age
Please provide one of the following showing that you will be age 16-25 on 15 June 2026:
- Provisional or full driving licence
- Passport
- Birth certificate
- CitizenCard
Once you have been approved, you will receive an email with instructions of how to activate your account and book tickets.

Age Restrictions
Some events have age limits. Please check the event details before attending.
Bring a valid ID with your ticket, as proof of age may be required for entry.
When the full DocFest programme is announced on 29th April, please look out for a road map which lists all the events available to 16 and 17 year olds.
Tickets are subject to availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Age restrictions may apply for certain events. A maximum of 2 tickets per person applies.
