Film entries are now open for the 34th edition of Sheffield DocFest, which will take place from 9-14 June 2027.
For our 34th edition, we welcome completed documentary films of all lengths, from shorts to mid-length and features, from around the world. Our programming represents our core values – creativity, empathy, freedom, inclusivity and internationalism.
Our 2026 programme presented 107 films, including 45 World Premieres, 17 International Premieres, 6 European Premieres, and 37 UK Premieres. Films came from 66 countries of production with 47 languages represented across 214 screenings in Sheffield cinemas and venues. Click here to explore the 2026 programme.
