Show Information
The Alternate Realities exhibition showcases innovative non-fiction and immersive documentary in all forms. Taking place at Site Gallery, the exhibition is free and open to all throughout the festival dates.

The Alternate Realities programme is a chance to explore boundaries of technology and storytelling to find new ways to engage with audiences, giving us an opportunity to explore our diverse lives, past and present, in innovative ways.

This year’s programme contains 15 unique projects, all showcased at Site Gallery, and encompasses exciting new work exploring the use technologies such as of AI (artificial intelligence), VR (virtual reality) and immersive dome screens.

The exhibition is open 11.00 - 20.00 from Wednesday 14 June to Monday 19 June, and is free to enter with no booking needed. All works from the Alternate Realities programme are included, except Within Touching Distance which requires booking, and is held in Site Gallery Studio I.
